Waimea College is a multi-course, co-educational secondary school with a roll of 1400+ students.  The college has a proud tradition of success in academic, cultural and sporting achievements.

We occupy attractive park like grounds, that provide a relaxed and spacious environment for our students. The College is well equipped with specialist facilities and advanced technology and equipment. There is a spacious assembly hall, performing arts suite, well resourced International Students Centre, computer pods and specialist rooms for Materials Technology, Graphics and Art. The spacious grounds include an area for raising plants in the Biotechnology Department. The school kiosk is centrally located and has won Heartbeat Awards for its selection of modestly priced, health, wholesome food.
