Situated just off the Moutere Highway is the Moutere Hills Vineyard Café & Winery.

Opening it's doors again in early December 2012, Rusty & Lisa are joined by a new chef and exciting new menu with healthy options available.

Outside eating areas include both covered and uncovered seating which have a rustic feel that work well in the peaceful countryside setting whilst the indoor seating has a slightly more funky feel.

It's a chance to get away from everything, simply sit back and relax, enjoy a meal, glass of wine and great coffee. Whilst you are doing what you enjoy, families with children can let the kids have a little fun as well in the play area plus there is a kids menu to choose something scrummy from.

As an Official Partner of the New Zealand Cycle Trail it's a great spot to catch your breath and re-fuel!

Directions

Driving from the Nelson direction - follow the Coastal Highway until you reach the turn off to the Moutere Highway. Turn left then keep on the Moutere Highway, up the hill, just keep on going - it's a big hill(!) until you see the signpost welcoming you to Upper Moutere, the historic village of 'Sarau'.

Just after this sign and as you come into the village, turn left into:-

Sunrise Valley Road
Turn right into Sunset Valley Road
Turn right into Eggers Road
At the Sunset Valley Vineyard sign - go up the driveway that goes up behind the large tree and then follow the Moutere Hills Vineyard & Café signs.

Driving from Motueka direction - drive through the village of Upper Moutere, go past the Church on the right, then turn into Sunrise Valley Road on the left. Follow the directions as above.
