Lake Rotoiti School

The school enjoys support from the local community; particularly its parents, who regularly help in class and on school trips. The parent fundraising group, KEA, help by funding School Camp and skiing on an annual basis. The school has a close working relationship with the Department of Conservation (DOC) who regularly help out in planning and carrying out learning activities.

The school’s catchment is rural; parents are employed in farming, service industries (eg. tourism), seasonal work or by DOC.
