Modern accommodation completed in 2013, originally part of a large hops barn located on a small 16 acre lifestyle block overlooking fields and hops on a 'no- through' road in beautiful Upper Moutere, Nelson, New Zealand. The perfect place to get away from it all but still be centrally positioned to access all Nelson has to offer.

Only a 5 minute walk to local facilities including a dairy & cafe and the Moutere Inn; the oldest public house in New Zealand offering craft beers, locally produced wines and delicious home cooked meals plus a range of specials including curry buffets, steak nights, quiz / folk nights and live bands.

The accommodation provides exclusive use of either a 1 x Superking or 1 x 2 Singles bedroom  a lounge, dinning / food preparation area and bathroom.

It is situated on the first floor over garaging and completely private/separate from the main house accommodation. The designated entrance, laundry and stairs are shared by the occupants of the adjacent self contained apartment.

Breakfast Basket Optional - $25.00 per booking, includes bread, butter, jams/marmalade, cereal, eggs, milk & juice.

Prices/Tariff

• 1st December  - End of February. Rate for 1-2 guests is $155pn / $950pw
• 1st December  - End of February. Rate for 3-4 guests is $185pn / $1150pw 
• Rest of Year    - Rate for 1-2 guests only occupying 1 bedroom is $125pn /$700pw
• Rest Of Year    - Rate for 3-4 guests is $155pn / $900pw

Upper Moutere is ideally located mid way between Nelson City and the Abel Tasman National Park.

There is also a petrol station, gift shop and church, all within walking distance and the Icon Gallery is just down the road, owned by Neville Parker a respected New Zealand artist. With local vineyards so close by you might like to to enjoy a glass of wine and a wood fired pizza at the Kahurangi Estate or choose something from the menu at the Moutere Hills Vineyard Cafe & Winery.

• 10 minutes to Mapua
• 15 minutes to Rabbit Island
• 35 minutes to Nelson City
• 35 minutes to Abel Tasman National Park & beautiful beaches of Kateriteri and Maurahau

Please note the accommodation is positioned on the first floor over garaging making the accommodation unsuitable for wheelchair users or those who have difficulty climbing stairs.
